Stephen and Melissa's Canadian Vacation
Hello from us both in Calgary. We are having a super time and are being extremely well looked after here in Tuscarora Way by both J and P. Jonny has given us a quick lesson on "how to blog", so we have picked a good selection of photos from our three day adventure in the Rockies. We spent two nights in Banff and one in Jasper and Stephen really excelled himself with a total of fourteen hours driving, while I nodded of every now and again!
Anyway, in the words of a famous surgeon we all know and love - "a picture speaks a thousand words" - so here goes....
the perfect send off
at the top of sulphur mountain

catalogue posing on sulphur
our descent
butterfly boy
melissa the moose
sad man
bow falls
spooky lake
peyto lake
moraine lake.... wow!

japanese poser
bow lake
'sno-coach'
on the athabasca glacier
our patricia lake bungalow
described as a motel room!

So, that should give everyone a good picture of our trip up the mountains. This country is really amazing.... so much to look at and so much to do.... never a dull moment! We really don't want to go home. One of us wants to stay here forever, can you guess who??
We have about another full four days left to go and should get loads more squeezed in! Not looking forward to saying goodbye though.
Yesterday the girls had a relaxing saturday - housework, long lazy lunch and some more beautiful country. Meanwhile the boys took off to get wet on a raft and spend two hours on horseback. So here's a taster of the white water rafting and horse day out. More to follow from Jonny.....
Up front as usual
giddy-up horsey
That's all from us, having a wonderful time and don't want it to end!
